They Call You Names
They call you “communist” because you value human rights over property rights.
They claim you “hate America” because they don’t want anyone defending the common good.
They say you “want big government” because you insist that the democratic process be big enough to protect the people from a tyranny of hoarded wealth.
They insist you “hate the military” because you question imperialism.
They say you “hate God” because you resist any effort to impose a sectarian theocracy.
They call me a heretic because I question cherry picked scripture from an English translated Bible and want to better understand the context of the scripture.
