Stay strong & give yourself time to heal. I know that in a few weeks following surgery you will feel so much better. A good friend of mine had a similar procedure 2 years ago and she was riding her bike 6 weeks later. Your positive attitude will help you heal even quicker. Trust your doctors & surgeon. They are the experts. Take good care of yourself.

Your heart has given me heart when I questioned long held tenets of my faith. Your validating words gave me hope and strength through uncertainty. I'm grateful for you and your words, Jim. "Happiness usually follows something good that happens to us personally. Joy is always available to us when we remember the tie that binds us to others." You're a reminder that joy is always available because we are all connected. May our words of encouragement help carry you through your own matters of the heart. You'll be in good hands with multitudes lifting you up and through this procedure.

Thanks for your thoughts. I like to think that what makes me happy are those times when I have made someone else happy.
